Protecting your applications and data

Cloud based access control

Cloud based access control benefits:

  • Centralised management across site, campus or enterprise having a single system managing all of your access control assets and access requests.
  • Out of hours remote door release and time limited guest access
  • Scalability – all server hardware is cloud based adding new devices and users is seamless.
  • Reduced maintenance burden - The server hardware, patches and updates together with its rackspace and power requirements are no longer your problem.
  • Integration – Cloud based security products are all about seamless integration. Combine CCTV footage with access control and intruder detection to verify alarm conditions and minimise false alarms
  • Cost savings – as you are not paying up front for capacity and growth in your system hardware you may see savings as you only pay for the services you need.
  • Updates and upgrades – Firmware updates and patches are managed remotely without disrupting your operational needs or security. New or enhanced features may become available as part of your subscription.
  • Data redundancy and backup – all come as standard with your cloud hosted security solution
  • Enhanced reporting and analytics – permit reporting and auditing capabilities helping maintain compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies.
