World first for Check Your Security

Since its inception in 2002, 360 Vision Technology has built a solid reputation for designing and manufacturing a British-made range of innovative and robust CCTV surveillance camera and control solutions. They have also developed unique, patent-pending static and PTZ LED illumination solutions in infra-red and white light options.
As a result of 360 Vision building the products in the UK, providing first-class customer service, Check Your Security could see they were leading the high-end marketplace. Innovation, camera flexibility and robustness, and new exciting features such as white light put them head and shoulders above the competition.

Seeing that they were about to release an IP version of their Predator camera in 2007, Check Your Security was the first company worldwide to purchase and commit to this new technology. They installed the first cameras to the student accommodation blocks and key hot spots of the University of East Anglia campus. This camera has delivered some unforeseen benefits beyond general surveillance and assessment. For example, it provided a reduced need for additional lighting to support the CCTV and the functionality to pre-set activation for the white light to illuminate muster points in an emergency on campus reduced light pollution.

After initial teething issues with Video management software integration, the cameras have proven themselves robust and flexible, giving the University a valuable tool with minimal disturbance or distraction to the students. In one particular instance, the cameras were instrumental in saving a student's life.

On September 19th, 2019, Check Your Security were awarded a gold predator camera by 360 Vision's Managing Director Mark Rees and Regional sales manager Tony Holloway. In recognition of our innovative vision, our approach to marketing leading technologies and ongoing commitment to using the 360 Visons products. Over the past 15 years, we have focused on the customer experience and included 360 vision products in many award-winning security designs.
