A Speech dialler may send a message directly to you at home or to a mobile number.
When you answer a call from the alarm system it tells about the activation with a pre recorded voice message giving details of the premises and the alarm type. This type of transmitter can connect to several telephone numbers and can be programmed to allow you to cancel the sending of any further messages.

Digital Communicator
A Digital communicator will send a data message to an Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC), these are sometimes called Central Stations, these transmitters report alarms in a security industry protocol and the received signals are actioned by operators who work at the centre 24hr’s a day. The response to alarms is dependant on the instructions given by you the customer, in advance.
This uses a standard telephone line, which provides notification on site if the line is cut, can be connected to an approved ARC for Police response, often used in medium risk domestic and low risk commercial premises.
Dual Com-DualCom GSM
DualCom combines a digital communicator with a PakNet radio pad. This technology offers a higher degree of security as the radio element is within the protected premises. In the event of an alarm condition both elements will signal simultaneously virtually guaranteeing an alarm response. The advantage of using dual signalling is the reduction in the line fault alarms as the radio path is always available.
DualCom GSM is an advanced auto-dialling Digital Communication Device for secure alarm reporting. It can transmit alarm signals to an Alarm Receiving Centre using the PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) or GSM, (Global System for Mobile Communications) data network. Dualcom can also be programmed to send SMS (Short Message Services) to a GSM phone.
